ALICE IN CHAINS Announces Special Acoustic Show In Oklahoma
November 30, 2010ALICE IN CHAINS will perform a very special acoustic show on February 5, 2011 at Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 3 at 10 a.m.

A review of the concert, which was recorded by the New Jersey company HDlogix for an upcoming 3D movie, can be found at The Seattle Times. Directing the photography is Jeff Cronenweth, cinematographer of movies such as "The Social Network" and "Fight Club". His brother, ad director Tim Cronenweth, is directing the concert movie.
After post-production is done, the 3D version of the concert will be shown in theaters and released on Blu-ray 3D discs.
HDLogix is a media and entertainment company specializing in 3D. The company most recently worked on the 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Game and several concert events.
The gig was part of the band's current BlackDiamondSkye tour, which recently brought ALICE IN CHAINS to New York City to headline the legendary Madison Square Garden.
The BlackDiamondSkye tour also featured DEFTONES and MASTODON.
ALICE IN CHAINS was touring behind its 2009 album, "Black Gives Way To Blue", the group's first all-new release in 14 years.
DuVall joined the band when it was reactivated in 2006. Original singer Layne Staley died in April 2002 of a drug overdose.
